Chrono Cross Harmonica Tablature Part II

CHRONO CROSS
HARMONICA TABLATURE
Part II

by Suta Amasha

I. ABOUT CHRONO CROSS ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

If one were to want to pick out the other subject of Chrono Cross that doesn’t simply describe the game, it would have to be the game’s music and sound. In my opinion the soundtrack is great, as it’s one of the best that you’ll ever find on a console.
All the music for the Chrono Cross soundtrack was composed and arranged by Yasunari Mitsuda. He have feelings and an attachment to every his track and should be credited with crafting a brilliant score that does wonders in stirring the emotional strings of the players as they’re playing through the game. When you move back and forth between the dimensions in this game, the “Home” and “Another” towns each have their own versions of their themes and that make the game seem more attractive. Good work Mitsuda-san, Keep up the good work.
Three cheers for Mitsuda-san ( ^_^)/U*U\(^_^ )kanpai!

If you’re a fan of Chrono Cross, there’s no doubt that you’ll be pleased with the original soundtrack album. It does have a lot of track that stands out as being truly memorable for player. You would probably remember ‘Scars of Time’, track that adorning the opening of Chrono Cross or the ending song-Radical Dreamers – The Unstolen Jewel sang by Noriko Mitose (I had never heard of this singer until I got into Chrono Cross Album), her beautiful voice matched so well in this song that worth remembering and other tracks that really stick out as being a step above the rest.

The other well known titles Mitsuda-san have worked on are;
Chrono Trigger
Xenogears
Xenosage Episode I
Shadow Hearts series
Mario Party

Note:
Yasunari Mitsuda was one of my favourite game composer besides Nobuo Uematsu and Yoko Shimomura.

A. DROWNING VALLEY
Composed by Yasunari MItsuda

This track use foreign instruments that I’m not familiar with, so let`s go directly to the tab m(_ _)m gomen.
Piece of cake tablature type with no bending notes or slide button, you just have to know how to blow and draw one clean single note to play.v(^ ^)v

B. ANOTHER TERMINA
Composed by Yasunari Mitsuda

Track with playful fun melody of bagpipe (a musical instrument played especially in Scotland in which air stored in a bag is forced out trough pipes to produce the sound).
I`m not recommend you to play this tab since this tabs are difficult to play with your harp. No tablatures available for diatonic harp (Nakanaka muzukashii)(>_<)
For chromatic harp there`s a lot of notes to slide in;
- hole 2 (draw and slide button) for F#,
- hole 3 (blow and slide button) for Ab,
- hole 5 (blow and slide button) for C#,
- hole 6 (draw and slide button) for F# and
- hole 7 (blow and slide button) for Ab.

C. LEAVING THE BODY
Composed by Yasunari Mitsuda

Opened with pluck of acoustic guitar and following by musical intrument i`m not familiar with ( anyone of you who know about it, please tell me).(p_-)
For diatonic harp there is one note to bent on hole 3 from B down to A.
For chromatic harpthere are 3 hole to slid;
- hole 3 (draw and slide button) for Bb,

D. ANOTHER GULDOVE
Composed by Yasunari Mitsuda

Another Guldove is easily one of my favorite songs ever. Oboe (a wooden musical instrument, shaped like a narrow tube and when you blow over it will produces a sound) work takes center stage here at select intervals during the song, but the dominant force musically are plucks of acoustic guitar in entire track.
For diatonic harp bending notes on;
- hole 2 from G down to F,
- hole 3 from B down to Bb,
- hole 3 from B down to A and
- hole 4 from D down to C#.
For chromatic harp slide button on;
- hole 2 (draw and slide button) for F# and
- hole 5 (draw and slide button) for Eb.
